Creative scrapbooking themesWhen thinking of creative scrapbooking ideas, it’s not usually too hard for us to come up with themes for your scrapbooking layouts – it’s usually the limitations of time or the struggle to come up with just the right look that’s the problem. But if you are struggling to think of creative approaches for your scrapbooking pages, here are some for you to think about: Holiday layouts – these are great for capturing memories and for utilizing peripheral material (think tickets, menus, coasters, itineries, maps). Parties – kids birthdays are always great to look back on and there’s usually plenty of colour and fun photos associated with them. Sporting events – again there’s good additional material that can be used here. Think about the event program if there is one or a team list. And try to avoid some of the scrapbooking clichés that have been seen over and over again!! Special achievements – all those kiddie milestones make great layouts and often provide top pictures. The first bike ride, the lost tooth, first day of school – the list is endless! Dramatic weather - such as unexpected snow, rivers flooding, big seas. These all give dramatic pictures that will give good impact to your layouts. We’ve got some more ideas on some of these themes.
