Scrapbooking rooms

Scrapbooking rooms are somewhere that you are going to spend plenty of creative time (hopefully). So planning and setting up your room in an efficient way certainly wont do any harm in helping you create your masterpieces.

If you make a room available dedicated to your scrapbooking then great! If you cant, the same principles apply to whatever space you can allocate for your scrapbooking.

A tidy room or area will help your thought process and make it easy to find what you need when you need it. Conversely an untidy scrapbooking room can be a big hindrance in the process – it can lead to major frustration and delay the output of your layouts.

So what are the elements for an excellent scrapbooking facility?

Good lighting is important – a daylight lamp is a good option for seeing colors accurately and matching components.

Good organization of your tools, paper, cardstock, embellishments, pens etc – a desk caddy is good for the smaller items.

A clock so that you don’t forget to pick the kids up.

A comfortable chair or stool given that you’ll be spending so much time in the room.

Your favorite player to play your favorite inspirational sounds.
